About MAVEM
The Approach
At MAVEM, movement is designed to support your life, not compete with it. Training is built around intention, consistency, and longevity, rather than extremes or all-or-nothing thinking.
Programs balance strength, mobility, and recovery, creating space for progress that feels sustainable. The focus is on building confidence through structure and repetition, allowing movement to become something you can return to again and again.

Our Story
MAVEM was created out of a desire for a more thoughtful approach to movement - one that values longevity, intention, and real-life sustainability. After years of working within fitness, wellness, and education, it became clear that many people weren’t struggling with motivation, but with systems that didn’t fit their lives.
The MAVEM method was developed to bridge that gap. By combining structured programming with a calm, supportive framework, MAVEM offers an approach to strength that feels accessible, repeatable, and sustainable over time.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Shannon! Founder and head trainer at MAVEM.
With a background in kinesiology and education, my work sits at the intersection of movement, learning, and long-term habit-building. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals navigating burnout, inconsistency, and the pressure to “do more” in fitness, often without systems that actually support real life.
MAVEM was created to offer something different: thoughtful programming grounded in science, education, and lived experience. My approach prioritizes intentional strength, sustainable progress, and movement that supports your life rather than competes with it.
